This person proved somewhat elusive. On the marriage certificate he gave his name as
Charles Woodliffe Walmsley and even his father's name was given as Richard Walmsley.
On the 1851 and 1861 censuses the names are still given as Woodliffe Walmsley.
However after 1870 the family reverted to the correct Woodliffe.
